  WVU Will be playing at home against #1 Baylor, making this the 7th time that we have played a #1 ranked team at the Coliseum. Tuesday’s game against No. 1-ranked Baylor will mark the second straight year the Mountaineers have played host to No. 1. What happened last year? Well, last year, the Mountaineers defeated top-ranked Kansas, 74-63 - the 4th time West Virginia has defeated a No. 1 team. Let's get this win and keep our season headed in the right direction. The Mountaineers (10-1) won their sixth straight game 84-57 over Radford despite an underwhelming second half that coach Bob Huggins labeled “really lethargic.” Northern Kentucky (9-3), after defeating NAIA member Brescia 97-73 to extend a five-game winning streak, heard coach John Brannen muttering similar criticism. #13 WVU Gets Huggins His 800th Win

No. 13 West Virginia Mountaineers used a 37-4 first-half blowout to a 112-67 win against UMKC on Saturday. This win, allowed coach Bob Huggins to obtain his 800th career win. Huggins is only the 10th coach to reach 800 wins and only the 3rd to achieve that milestone at his alma mater, Jim Boeheim/Syracuse and Adolph Rupp/Kentucky. An awesome feat indeed. Jim Boeheim along with former Mountaineer great and Golden State executive board member Jerry West, Kentucky coach John Calipari, Louisville's Rick Pitino and countless former Cincinnati Bearcat and West Virginia Mountaineer players were among those to send their congratulations [...]
